No Questions Asked
"He is very imprudent, a dog is. He never makes it his business to inquire, whether you are in the right or in the wrong, never bothers as to whether you are going up or down upon life’s ladder, never asks whether you are rich or poor, silly or wise, sinner or saint. Come luck or misfortune, good repute or bad, honor or shame, he is going to stick to you, to comfort you, guard you, and give his life for you ..."

Dogs of the Month - Bruno and Lilly
An English Mastiff and Saint Bernard mix, Bruno is a gentle giant who has a smidgen of sister, Lilly. Weighing in at 170 pounds, it is hard to believe Bruno was the runt of his litter. The Big Sexy is his nickname. Lilly, a tiny Chihuahua, has the nickname of Lilly Bean and weighs a whopping 5 pounds. Not put off by Bruno’s size, Lilly likes to curl up beside him. According to mom, Bruno tolerates this because he is a good big brother.
Both dogs are enthusiastic fans of outings. Mom bought a Jetta with Bruno specifically in mind, and he loves to ride in his car. Lilly likes to get out of the house as well. Shopping with mom at local stores is a favorite pastime. When staying in, Bruno likes nothing better than snuggling on Momma's bed with mom (and his little sis too if she insists). As for Lilly, she likes to lounge on the bed also, but prefers barking in front of the television when animals appear on the screen.
These pooches may not have a lot in common when it comes to breeding but they are certainly family now.
Heather Dross is mom and proud owner of Bruno and Lilly. She was the winner of one of Dog About Town’s Pet of the Month contests.
