Columbia Basin Winery Dogs with Racing Limos of Tri-Cities
Racing Limos of Tri-Cities, the most exciting and unique limousine service in the Washington
wine country, has put together an itinerary of wine tastings at several Columbia and Yakima Valley wineries while providing an opportunity for you to meet the winery dogs of the region.
On the tour you'll get to meet canine greeters such as:
| Argus, a standard poodle with a hippie haircut that stands out front on the pavement like a statue and patiently awaits his new friends. Argus is the head of reception and security at Tapteil Winery. As top salesman ... or salesdog, he is featured on the label of Argus Bone Dry White. Nice job Argus!! |

Aurora, is the ten-year-old white shepherd (?) mix featured on the labels of Sleeping Dog Wines of Benton City. Aurora is head of customer relations due to her tireless enthusiasm towards visitors. She meets and greets all guests and guides them safely to the tasting room. If a group mistakenly heads to the house, her herding instincts will guide the wayward travelers to the appropriate entrance. She can then relax and assume the logo position. |

Koda the tail-wagging sidekick at Pontin Del Roza Winery is always up to lending a paw or jaw (see photo) at harvest time. When not harvesting apples, Koda is busy giving love and affection to his visitors. They are there to visit him…right? His energy and enthusiasm make him top dog. |
|
Koda - Harvest Time Helper at Pontin Del Roza |
And then there is Brodie, the Westie at Severino Cellars in Zillah who LOVES people and polite dogs (especially Ragan, his Yellow Lab sister). His favorite chores are digging for sage rats in the spring and acting as co-pilot on anything that moves… riding lawnmower, 4-wheeler, backhoe or tractor. A big dog living in a little body, a young dog with an old soul, he will be your instant friend and for a belly scratch… he'll go get you a sage rat. How can you beat that? |

Head to the sunbelt of the Northwest for a weekend filled with dogs, wine and friends. Gift Certificates available for the dog lover on your holiday list.
Dogs and wineries just seem to have some sort of connection. It may not be just the taste of the wine that brings people back to the wineries; it may be the dogs too.
